Bulletin No. 1

Greetings from Enniskillen in Northern Ireland and also from the Irish Waterski Federation.

We are greatly looking forward to seeing you here for the final Waterski Stop of the

2006 Waterski & Wakeboard World Cup series on August 11/13th 2006.

INTRODUCTION

The Irish Waterski Federation, founded in 1959, is the organizing body. There are 17 Waterski and Wakeboard Clubs in Ireland. Following the success of the World Cup Stop in Enniskillen last year, we are delighted to confirm that our sponsors have joined with us again to make this Stop to remember. Without the full support of Northern Ireland Events Company, Waterways Ireland, Fermanagh District Council and MasterCraft, this event could not take place. We greatly thank them for their generous support.

SITE LOCATION

The World Cup site is located in the Town of Enniskillen in the north west of the country. This is about 90 minutes drive west from either of Belfast’s two Airports and about 2 hours drive north west of Dublin Airport. The calm stretch on the River Erne is almost in the downtown area. There is virtually no current at this time of the year and the entire area is well protected from winds. Temperatures should be about 20C / 70Fh. The evenings could be cooler.
